Minimum Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in the Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Law School of Tanzania.
  • Hold a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognized institution, with a strong academic record.
  • Possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

As a Research Assistant or Field Assistant you will:

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare case summaries and opinions.
  • Draft essential legal documents, such as contracts, pleadings, and memoranda.
  • Support client meetings and court hearings by observing and documenting proceedings.
  • Organize and maintain case files with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the team to discuss legal strategies and contribute to their development.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct in all aspects of the role.

Duration

  • The placement lasts between three to six months.
