Caroline is an Associate and her areas of focus include corporate, real estate and litigation.

She focuses on corporate and litigation, conducting due diligence investigations over borrowing’ companies in preparation for the proposed financing or mergers and acquisitions. She also represents clients before Courts and Tribunals.

Experience has included advising:

  • As a team member, a multinational bank in Tanzania on the issuance of a term loan to a sugar company in Tanzania.
  • As a team member, a foreign bank on its intended acquisition of a Tanzania bank.
  • As a team member, a multinational tea company on the separation of its global tea business and transfer of shares in the company’s certain tea existing entities in Tanzania to the new tea holding structure.
  • As a team member, on a comprehensive legal audit of Tanzanian collaterals that secured the revolving trade finance facility issued to a Tanzanian borrowing company by a foreign lending institution.
  • As a team member, an insurance company, banks and communications companies on how to prepare an audit on their financial accounts.
