Faustin Malongo has worked with IMMMA Advocates since 2001. Faustin was appointed as a Partner in 2007 and also as the head of the firm’s office in Mwanza. The Mwanza office serves as the firm’s beacon on activities in the northern part of Tanzania. Faustin has a well-rounded base of knowledge and expertise in commercial litigation, mining and banking.

As an advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and the Court of Appeal of Tanzania, Faustin has handled numerous litigious cases on behalf of IMMMA Advocates in matters ranging from employment and commercial disputes involving substantial sums, all across mainland Tanzania. Faustin has a wealth of experience in mortgage financing and the drafting of facility agreements.

  • Ausdrill Tanzania Limited in a court of appeal labor dispute
  • Sandvik Mining and Construction Tanzania Limited in employment matters
  • ALS Tanzania Limited in retrenchment of its employees
  • NBC Limited, Bank of Baroda and KCB Bank Tanzania Limited in several debt recovery suits at the commercial court and high court
  • Commercial Bank of Africa (Tanzania) Limited in various debt recovery matters
  • Williamson Diamonds Limited in service levy claims by two district authorities
  • Drafting security documents for various banks
  • Acacia Plc subsidiaries, in various commercial and employment disputes
  • Geita Gold Mine, in various commercial and employment disputes
